Major mistake!

The blog entry titled as follows:
Kudremukh-contd: Hanumangundi falls

The 11th para was written as in the following pictures...

The Paragraph was supposed to read "Trying NOT to kick him in the face by mistake..." As you can see it was a typing mistake that can mean the complete opposite of what was supposed to be said and with serious consequences! The error has been rectified.I just thought that this has to be brought to the notice of the readers in case of any sort of misunderstanding! :)

My success sweeter than yours, HAHA!

Its true,
There are somethings money can't buy.As a kid I always wished to grow up to be the richest guy in the world.Even then, it was not the money that I wanted nor the status of being the richest, but all the things that I had thought money will fetch me.True gemini, I still don't run after materialistic pleasures.

As myself, I say, a life spent in pursuit of materialistic pleasures is no life at all...but sometimes I do wish I was more like that, cause those dreams seem more attainable than mine.

"What do you want?" is the hardest question to ask me...because I don't know what I want that can be bought at a store. In fact there must be no such thing and yet I am not satisfied.

I have been an Army general.Don't jump.I have been posted at the border{(<15<)(<35<)(<60<)(etc,.)(:P)} for what seems like forever.I have been enjoying border patrol.I can drop any moment, must win the war before that!

I have tasted amazing highs and heart breaking lows.Thats why, my moments of triumph are sweeter cause I know the difference.I always thought my life was a big bad joke, but I now look and laugh at those who haven't tasted failures like mine, cause buddy, my success rocks more than yours.

Kudremukh

That's the place where we went for our class trip: Kudremukh.Once famous for it's splendid beauty then known for Iron ore reserves and it's mining, then known for beauty spoiled by the mining!
It was a class trip that I almost never went for.It was a class trip that none of my friends almost never went for.In the last moment everybody changed minds and seemed like I was the only one who would be stuck here in Mysore.Well..that also changed a moment later than that.
I was never given the permission to go, at home...but I went anyway!

As expected our Departure was hours behind schedule.Mind you "Behind Schedule" will be like theme of this trip rather than Kudremukh itself! The silly photo sessions right in front of our college (Which we see every single day) were not helping either, especially when everyone seemed to be taking over 20 pics there itself. The trip to, was fun..in the beginning I was just glad to play the role of a photographer during a bumpy part of the journey(And no, I wont be posting THOSE pics here for sure), but later as everyone settled ,the best of my buddies were around and we just couldn't stop chatting with(teasing, joking, laughing, poking, fighting, almost killing ;) each other.
-Some of us were just interested in cracking jokes
-Others in laughing at them
-Another in teasing Mr.Romantic ;) -No points for guessing who n with what!
-and finally he wanted to send me to hell ASAP when he went into "Thats all I can stands for,I can't stands no more" mode!
Meanwhile a lot of people at the back finally realised that I do posses a deep and clear voice
(and also probably an irritating one) when they got to hear complete details of the so-called horror story from a haunted house in Kerala (about two sexy female ghosts who were playing games in the middle of the night on their balcony) which I sincerely attempted at narrating softly to only those interested and sitting around me!

The trip was loooong 6 hours. And a few eggheads managed to be left behind when we stopped for a break at a city on the way. That delayed us about 45 minutes more!

When the trip to was over, a red-eyed bunch checked into hotel rooms supposedly for an hour.I just cuddled up and went to sleep instead of fighting for a place in the bathroom.Everyone were so brotherly that they were busy with 'massbrushing' and maybe a lot of other things that I am happy I missed when I went to sleep. The bathroom sucked...mainly because I managed to forget my brush, soap and a tube of paste in it, but also because it was too small to squeeze into and on top of that...the door was not strong enough to keep the people on the other side of it, on the other side!Sleep, I didn't really cause more people were interested in knowing who I was and why I was sleeping like that than completing their own morning duties. After I finally got ready and got down...not many seemed to be up and we were getting hungry.

It took about an hour after that to leave towards the Kudremukh National Park.Once there we had our breakfast (FINALLY!!!). And I learnt two very important trade secrets of the catering business. The first one is, "Ask all the terribly hungry people to stand in an orderly line in a civilized manner, then serve food to all the others first!".The next one I learnt during lunch and I will reveal when we get to that part!
After the breakfast (Chapathis and Gojju) we started climbing those peaks. It didn't seem like too many were interested were getting up there so soon and a couple of my buddies seemed a bit slow for me.So I just went on ahead with those who were keeping up...a bad decision as I learnt later.Because most of them never made it to all the places we went.Which was the whole essence of the journey for me.

We, and we as in 9 men, were challenged by some on our way down..." You going down? hehe good luck :P "...." Mark my words, you can never get there"..."THERE IS NO WAY DOWN THERE...HUH STREAM MY @$" .All we could say to them was
......." We make our own road"

Kudremukh- Cont'd: The Brook

This post is a continuation of another ie above. To read it scroll up or click here.

All of us had our minds on a brook down in the middle of the forest that we could not see but we could definitely hear from the top!(It looked something like this -> click here ...but only better :) )True to our own words we made it down.Proud enough as it is, I led the pack ( :) ) and found a way where the not so athletic could also make it down with us...but as it turned out, not many followed us.
Nature lover that I am, the place was a paradise for me.The brook which seemed like hardly it was visited by even 3-4 people a year was free from the slightest hint of garbage.Flooded with bird calls, green, sounds of rustling leaves, babbling sound of the water and everything right that could fit in a serene place!
We washed our face and feet and finally got into the first photo op that seemed valid and the best one at that, as I realised after the trip.I made sure I caught a small animal in the water that I had seen just once before , again in a stream in Ghats, but never seen it in books,TV or net...which is why it makes me so curious everytime.Amidst girlish calls of "Please don't hurt it....please don't kill it" ( I felt like I was a wanton butcher or something)we managed to take a picture of the slippery little thing in my hands and then let it back into the brook!

We all wanted to go on ahead , cross the brook and finally climb the tallest peak in the range, but we were under the assumption that we were already late and we didn't want to hold up the rest of the group travelling with us.The way up was different from the way down since we didn't have to worry about people who couldn't climb steep slopes. After getting back up, we finally realised that we were not late at all. There were people still enjoying the beauty of the place from the top,AT THE TOP.We felt bad at missing out on the opportunity of climbing that peak.On the way back we took some rest under the shade of a tree and then the beauty of that peak sunk in.

We got back to the place where the rest of the pack had already returned. They were playing some games and were having fun.I could hear shouts of "Illaaaaaaaaaa....Illaaaaaaaaaa" (no..no) and pretty much only that from a distance.I'm serious...thats all I could hear!

We the left to a much talked about dam.We were supposed to have lunch there. And when we got there after a half an hour drive...all we could say was."DAMN!!! This is the dam?? "
Anyway...thats only because it was bone dry!But if you have a good eye, it was actually a good view to watch all the silt settled evenly on the huge stretch of land.Partly reminded me of the views from Salt lake city,Utah...but definitely not as good!I tried getting down to the bed for just-one-pic the only time in the whole trip(or in months for that matter) I even tried to get a pic of myself, but we came to know it was illegal, and I was back up in a flash.Everybody scattered around pretty fast. The were hills all around.I again turned into the photographer. It was a good photo op too...and Batta seemed to be striking a perfect pose fit to the desert like place...and was waiting for someone to take a pic soon...which I did.(This I will definitely put up).As it turned out..there was no food there yet and we had to go elsewhere for that.So the stop was over in 20 minutes...Hanumangundi falls here we come.

At the entrance of the falls...we were finally served our food.A moment before people began revolt ,protest, throw stones, burn tires, overturn the vehicles and burn effigies out of the delay.
Chitraanna and Mosranna(Curds and rice) with sandige. The first trade secret of the catering business if you recall is, ' Ask all the terribly hungry people to stand in an orderly line in a civilized manner, then serve food to all the others first! ' . The second one I learnt during lunch and it was 'Ask all the terribly hungry people to form two lines as in 'boys' and 'girls' because "It will be easier to maga", and then after 20 minutes of waiting and after one of the lines has grown a mile long ask the members of the shorter line to join the longer one, again because "It will be easier to serve maga!!" ' . Well they learnt the third trade secret from me and that is 'When the terrible hungry people are also steaming , you better shut up and serve! ' .None of us went and joined the new line from the beginning.
Anyway, the monkeys there reminded me of a lot of people. And some of them seemed to be really interested in scratching the hell outta my face! The foood was goood as was the breakfast unlike the last we went on a trip in 5th sem.

BTW, just to remind you people, the fact that I have not mentioned the words "There was a delay in getting started..." more than once, so far doesn't really mean there wasn't any.Its implied in any trip in our case. You are supposed to understand that I will have to mention those words about 7-8 times more if I have to be honest in this article.Keeping that in mind lets continue down to Hanumangundi falls.

Kudremukh- cont'd: Hanumangundi Falls

This post is a continuation of another ie above. To read it scroll up or click here.

We had to climb down hundreds of steps among 'fears' of leech bites to get to the falls.I was least bothered about leeches.Obviously any leech that bites me gets all its blood sucked out from its body into mine instead of vice versa.I'm sure most leeches were aware of that, since I have never been bitten despite having visited some of the most leech infected areas before.

The way down was awesome...full of green.Green everywhere.Cool...moist!Superb!

We got to the falls...I'm being honest here...for me, it was ordinary!I heard there was a better view slightly higher.Though there were steps to it, I went there by climbing rocks(not a big deal) and that too FOR ME was ordinary!I was wondering why we came so far for that.I just ensure that my feelings didn't stop anyone from enjoying themselves, though I am usually very vocal about stuff. It was time to get wet for a lot of people and get wet they did...I never wanted to get in there, because I wasn't sure I will get a proper place to change later on.But I didn't get wet for a lot of other reasons (which have nothing to do with any promise I made to mum or anyone :) ).To top it all, I was the one took pictures of the bunch finally.I did remove my shoes, roll up my pants and wade in slightly because a few of them specifically called out to me,but returned soon.I called my pals off at exactly 4, because that was our time limit...but I never really expected them to pay heed.

Downstream, I heard my pal Shambu had hurt himself. He had chipped off a nail in a freak accident.Thats one of the injuries that suck the most!!I just recalled that while picking him on the way to college the previous night, I had promised his extremely worried parents that I won't get into the water as I had done to my mum too. They were very worried about him...now I was wondering how they would react at home when they see him with a heavy bandage on his toe.

I went back down the same route to see him.He was a mess.I just felt bad about it.A sucking feeling I can't explain.

Soon, the driver sent the cleaner or whatever to call us back up.Everybody took so long in changing into drier clothes mainly because its in their nature to cause a delay and partly because the changing room totally sucked! So some of us just decided to return instead of waiting for our friends so that the drivers and the rest of the bunch wont get restless.

Back up...back to out theme...

delay...

problems...

delay...

problems...

Finally a good reason to stop and that was to get Shambu treated at a hospital. Some pain killers and dressing, we were good to go.A few minutes of driving...beauty of the western ghats...and some pretense of being in sleep and we stopped again...this time for dinner!
Puliyogre if memory serves and then Chitranna since the mosranna was out before I got there...and lots of onions, because " Innu thumba ide" (Lots are left out).We manage to drop a wooden work of art into the sewers while eating. When are done with that and are good to go home...

delay...

problems...

delay...

problems...

The driver was delayed so much that he wanted extra pay for it.WHATEVER?????JUST GET US HOME WILL YA?

Anyway, the theme carried on and someone finally said "Lets head home".Oh really?Mann...I could never think of that!A while later I managed to briefly catch a network area to call home on Pradeep's cell.I told them go have dinner and go to sleep without me.

The drive back was sleepless..Some bloke found great pleasure sleeping next to me on the floor with his face right next to my feet.I spent the next 4-5 hours trying NOT to kick him on the face by mistake while trying to wink some sleep. The posture gave me cramps all over my body.I found out there was no way to sleep like that!In the whole bus for huge part of the trip from, it seemed like I was the only one awake and it bored the living hell outta me!At one point I wanted to slap 5-6 people off from their sleep and tell them to talk to me.

To sum up the whole trip, I will say it was good...though I would say Kemmangundi was better. But honestly..the trek down to the brook was the best for me...something I actually enjoyed.A memory of a lifetime.Something I can recall and talk about for the rest of my life.Too sad all my friends couldn't get to see it.I don't really wanna speak too much about it and make anyone jealous, but thats how good it was!
The complete trip was one to remember, considering this might be the last trip.Besides after this the "Worst year"(as predicted) for placements is set to tear people apart.'Trip' in the real sense was what this was!For the last time :|

Believe it or go to hell, our journey was supposed to be 24 hours or less! After all the dust settled the watch said 31 hours!!!Our bus pulled up in front of the college...I got my bike back from the pay and park. All friends had left home in a hurry...so I had pretty much nothing left to hang around for.I let the engine roar..and zip home.
Moments later I am inside my room, too tired to answer mum's questions...and I dive into my bed and I am fast asleep. The only thing 'fast' in the last 32 hours.I sleep like a dead man!

Apologies:
Please bear with all the grammatical and spelling mistakes that have/may have occurred in the article, I may have missed out some letters/words while typing in a hurry, which is usually the case while writing long posts like this one! :D
Thank you!

Libre 08

Well...a lot of good things happened here at this opensource fest.
A lot of tech talks...most good!Being the most interested- least knowledgeable about linux and opensource ;), I decided I should attend all.I did attend most!

Speakers from Solaris, Fedora, Novel software, Google were all there. It was a good 3 days.
The best was the treasure hunt where our team won second place. :)
I wasn't even in the team...I sneaked in at the very last moment before the start of the race.Half an hour later we came second.
Anyway it was said the prize money would be 1.2k and in the end it was reduced and re-reduced to 400 bucks...we are like well why don't you just keep it?

Anyway...the talks were worth the while...the speakers made them so.

The links we came to know of during the talks:

Save the turtles!

I've just written to Ratan Tata asking him to not to go ahead with building a port in Dhamra, Orissa, dangerously close to one of the world's largest sea turtle nesting grounds for the Olive Ridley Sea Turtle. I think its a good idea for Mr. Tata to move the port to another location rather than endanger the turtles.

By living up to the Tatas' environmental legacy, Ratan won't just save the highly-endangered Olive Ridley Turtles, he will also end up making Tata a better company.

The only problem is that I can't bring about that change alone. I need help from lots of people, especially you.

Please do what I've done. Write directly to Ratan by clicking here

Thanks a million.

SUNSHINE SUNSHINE SUNSHINE

Well...I dunno what to say except for that title.
A hot hot (tempered) ACE co-ordinator 'TELLS' us that we are getting on stage in 45 minutes for a mock-rock competition and going there was a must.
Next 45 minutes went as follows:

5...we are speaking to the ever screaming Co-ord and she was shouting at everything as usual.

10...we are trying to confirm who all are getting on stage with the NaXatra Gang.Plans were to combine groups with another gang called Punarvidhi but the organisers wanted two seperate participations from these two gangs.

15...Akshit(Punarvishi Gang) is applying Mehndi to the chicks

20...Akshit is applying Mehndi to the chicks

25...Akshit is applying Mehndi to the chicks

30...Akshit is applying Mehndi to the chicks and I finally confirm that he is getting on stage with us.I ask him to get their song for us...great, the song is taken care of.Lets head to Keshava's place.

35...we get a lungi from Keshava's place and a bat,a head scarf and two pairs of goggles from my room.

40...the co-ord is shouting as usual and we pick up some more props lying around the stage and the dressing room:
A film Banner that said: Krazy
A long insulation pipe thingy.
A piece of Garden hose.
and we also fetch my helmet, Rohit's rain cap to go along with our get-up ;)
Our "Miss.TechNIEks" applies a long 'naama' on my forehead with a lip-liner to make me look more horrible than ever.

45...5 of us backstage are waiting for 5 more to join us before our part begins....and we hear a familiar voice say "...and our next performers are NaXatra!!!!!! Please give them a big hand"
I pluck the stalk of a plant and tuck it in my jeans and jump onto stage...

6 minutes of heavy metal[\m/] + slow romantic songs[ ;p ]

We win second place!

To be honest yesterdays win in the skit didn't seem like a win at all, because the script was written specifically for a prize rather than response.Besides lemme mention that there were only 4 teams for skit, out of which one was DQ and the other was too dumb.We were numero uno among a small bunch of clowns except ofcourse for the team that won second place.
Success was what I felt today...the realisation I hope is quick and painless.I don't want any of this to get to my head, even though we only came second...it feels like first!

I went there to ensure it was a time to remember...it was better than I expected.

Hollywood quiz

It only seems fair to talk about our quiz in a dedicated entry :P
Today morning we were in for a rude shock. The venue(Drawing Hall 3) that was alloted to us for conducting Hollywood quiz was given to Bollywood quiz.
We had to be content with a mere "software lab 3" a place we were given earlier but had finally managed to salvage a better room with also the facility of a mic.

But nooooooo for some greaaaat reason everything was changed to something else.
And no, we were not even informed about it.We only found out because we saw a silly notice that went like " Bollywood Quiz. Test your BW quotient 11 AM , Drawing hall 3".
WOW!!Hats off to the Superrr duperrrr organising.

BTW...the main poster that was put up didn't feature or advertise only one....ONLY ONE event as part of ACEthetics..no points for guessing which event. :)

Anyway...every single person we had invited so far just appeared at the old venue instead of S/W lab 3.

Improvise my dear Watson...improvise...and that we did.In all the hurry-burry of practising for skits and preparing questions, I had never had time to personally invite any friends to take part...and that I started at 10:45 AM. The quiz was supposed to have taken off at 10:30AM

We needed to 13 teams or more to conduct a preliminary round...otherwise a prelim was not needed.
Our status has stayed put on 8 teams registering from 10:50 to 10:59 AM.I just throw my gaze at the S/W 3 for a moment and suddenly I see about 6 more teams walking in hordes into the lab.
I run in and start praying that I don't get more teams anymore...we just couldn't accomodate so many teams.SHIT :P

Anyway..some really smart teams showed up and I kept fearing a tie and everything looked set to bring in a tie breaker.
Batta screwed up once and then it looked like there would be some protest.yeah right! The chick with the super fake accent looked like she could kill Batta with her answers.
A quiz that was supposed to be won by a team of super brains Akshit and Prashali ( Who looked like they owned the place - from the beginning ) was won by other teams.
No regrets.

I will still shout at the end of the day that "Ace rocks"

Some more sunshine!

Well, you heard about the results and you saw the video. The skit in the video was something that didn't fetch us a prize but did fetch us some reaction.
We performed again, just to impress the judges and not the crowd. The trick worked. Now all the bragging for the boys has been provided.R.I.P.
We won first prize...looks like the sunshine is coming from a different direction this time.

If it wasn't said...

There is a saying in kannada - Mutthu odidare hoythu, maathu adidare hoythu. It means, once a pearl is shattered , once something is already said, You can't change it back...you cant set it right!

There must be a lot of occassions when I have said things I regret.Being a person who speaks out his mind without a second thought or simply an 'extrovert' as some choose to call me, I have pretty much never learnt how to hold back my true expressions. But the trouble doesn't end there...I have ended up saying things completely opposite to things I wanna say.I have said things I don't believe in and it has landed me in soups thicker than jelly belly.

But have there been any such days when you have heard someone else say something bad about you directly or indirectly? You hear someone very close to you say something negetive about you and this just makes you think so much that YOU start wishing the person had not said it...(forget the one who has said it)?

Consider a man is going through a not-so-good time and he tries to find happiness in small things in life. Now one of his close friends complain that he brags a lot.The "bragging" drastically reduces. Now you start wondering whether the guy stopped bragging or stopped sharing things with you? Would it be the same if it wasn't said?
If only it wasn't said...

Spam anyone?...anyone?

Spam...it's everywhere.EVERYWHERE!
I use the 'report spam' button much much more than any other button!

At first were the spam that were hell bent on getting you to open their mail so that we could view the "hot babe" or "Awesome aunty" picture sent by some stranger who probably is so generous that he wanted to show it to everyone, even people he didn't know.Well what he didn't know was that there weren't too many people who would fall for that trick.

Then came the spam that read "IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!" ( '!' to the power of infinity) or "MUST READ!!!!!!"(again) or " OPEN SOON" all of which had " dont give a crap about me, just delete me" written all over them.

Third was an era of spam which were from people so concerned about you that they wanted you to enhance parts of your anatomy that didn't even exist! How sweet....but I think I'll pass.

Now its the invasion of invitations. No wonder.Every 100th person in India seems to be opening a networking site and I get an invite from a site I have not even heard of each day and every now and then I hear myself saying...

*bigadda.com - oh really? good luck!

*minglebox.com??.......I like orkut better!

*tvshuffle.com. - WHAT!?!?!?!

*youmint.com .......I dont care how many SMS you can send , just dont send me an invite

*yaari.com I havent even heard of this god-damned site brother so take a hike.

*Shtyle.fm no I dont want a soft drink or champagne...you got coconut water?

*mginger.com oh nobody told ya honey? that stuff doesnt work

*Jhoos.com arre khoon choos ke jhoos join karvaoge kya shaane?

*zorpia.com one more mail from you and I'll Zorp-ya!

*dont "challenge" me to a "dropout challenge" - even my dog can beat you at it(too much?) ;)!

*No I am not waiting to join - jaxtr.com

*desktopdating.com...what?....excuse me....what?....what are ya gonna think of next? DesktopDoing.com?

*Stumbleupon... - re:Hi dude! I got your invite, thnx.Anyway, who the hell are you and how did you get my email ID?

*hi5.com....for the hundredth zillionth millionth time.I am already there, leave me alone!

*WAYN.com:your invitation is gonna expire sign up soon....my my I'm so glad you told me just in time!

...and my discovery of new sites is still going on, I have decided to write a book now.Maybe Ill soon be on Oprah with a book that is titled something like "How spam changed my life" or something like that with everybody in the audience nodding their head as if they understand something and then finally have everybody but me in tears mainly because they thought Oprah would give them all free cars but ended up getting my book.

I am awaiting the next generation of spam that will keep me busy with the report spam button.

Disclaimer:This silly entry does not endorse in any way directly or indirectly or in-indirectly any of the stupid sites published along with it.It has been published purely to vent out the writers frustration over spam.Thank you for bearing with us.God bless you.
PS:Please do come back and read the next one.

So many wannabees

The revolutionary new movie...revolutionary in what way?
1 in every 20 girl we come across now wants to be like Geeth from Jab we met.

*When I was in 1st standard ,1 in every 2 guys wanted to be John Rambo...
*2nd standard it was Hulk Hogan.

*10th standard....I almost completely lost it then watching all those guys who wanted to be Mr.Bean.Good lord, what next?
With films getting better, the future then looked bright and then came Jab we met.
COME ON girls,if everything in the movies could be so easily copied and implemented then you would be probably kidnapped by 20 ugly looking rowdies and rescued by a handsome hero at least two times by now.Twice because the male-female ratio is pretty bad in India. You would also carry your books in your arms rather than in your backpack so that you can bump into a guy at every corner and let them fall.Ah so Filmy. You know the rest!

All these brown-eyed cum brown-teethed girls now want to be loud ,over-excited and talkative and ("playfully") falling on top of every guy she meets just because its...bubbly and cheerful and sooooooo GEETH! When someone raises an eyebrow it suddenly becomes "I am just enjoying myself " or "This is how I am!!" .Oh really madam? where were 'you' till Jab we met released? and why-o-why don't u fall on top of the girls too?
All the guys who love the so-called 'touching-touching' flock to all the newly found Geeth wannabes.Hurray...India Shining!
We already had the Britney Spears or Paris Hilton wannabes ,now this is just a more indigenous wannabe I guess(As I said - India Shining)."Thu I am not like those girls" still refuses to die down.:P . Anyway we all know this is not what Geeth's character really is like, she is infact just an ultimate fun loving girl.

Not to mention all the kids across India who now claim to dyslexic or just want to be( I already told you about this).

Thankfully no guys want to be the nice chubby gay looking guy from JWM.But what the hell they want to be Vin Diesel from 'XXX' and the 'Fast and the Furious' or to get more indigenous again - Dhoom and D:2 which were a poor hollywood remakes in the first place)...here we go again...a 100CC Bajaj bike turns into a mean mean racing machine...one fall and he is a gallant gladiator flaunting his injury.
Then of course the Casanova wannabes who manage to get one girl to reply to him properly after 6 semesters in the college and think..."wohohow am I on a roll or what? ".Well when JWM released I guess it made their lives.

And oh, there are other wannabes too..not just filmy. There is the 'American' wannabe...and the 'American-turned-Spaniard-turned -god knows what-turning into -god knows what next' wannabe ,the only wannabe who(which) is in my class I guess.A bunch of rowdy wannabes. No dearth of rock star wannabes...wow so "interesting" this bunch, always talking about rock-stars who made songs whose lyrics they couldn't grasp by just listening to the song and wanna head-bang just because it is supposed to be kewl rather than to enjoy the song.I know one such wannabe who took to drinking heavily just because a rock music bar or whatever-the-hell-you-call-it-bar came up in the city.Until then he had sworn to never touch anything that classified as containing alcohol.Dude!Get a life!

I guess its wannabes who run colleges...because 1/3rds of a college population is full of them.Besides they form a huge part of my entertainment.Without them, college would be boring.

NOTE:
I love the character Geeth from JWM,
I like Mr.Bean,
I like some of the rockstars,
I like Americans and Spaniards...some and definitely not Bush,
I love Rambo,
I like Vin Diesel a lot,
This not-so-appease-all entry does not mean I have anything against anybody...its just the wannabes that I am talking about and most importantly none of the wannabes that I have spoken here about know that this blog even exists, which is why I wrote it in the first place! ;)

Shaddap!

It's all about yap-yap.
Shut up!!
When will peeepuhuh-al learn not to put all their eggs in one basket????
Well if ya got just one, then make an omlette outta it...but puh-leeeeeeeeeeze not this brother.
First a guy acts girlish, tries to mock the rock-hard doc behind my back.Hey ya got balls? Why doncha do it on ma face bugga? Now I see you've shut the *ahem* up.Good!
And then today morning I learn I am a bloody groupist.Shame on me.Burn me Burn me.
Later ofcourse, all sorts of nuisance that you gotta put up with when everything is transparent,at least to yourself.
Hey Bhai...you used your brains, but whats the use?
Keep saying that,I'm gonna jam my foot up your @$ , thats the use.
A record of having never fallen from the bike...finally broken, I take a fall at the bake point circle(Technically-but no big deal).

"Ice is gone now, you can come here "(Actual line: hu Ice hoda, neeniga baa ) . Okay, I have heard everything.
Now I am supposed to be upset..oh do you know me at all?
Its the time of twisted twists and hairpin bends, life is now all so topsy turvy...DON'T PUT ALL YOUR EGGS IN ONE BASKET.

My best thoughts are re-assured...I'm safe with my friends!
It's been a memorable day :)

Ahhh, normalcy restored

It's that time of the year again that we go through twice where I come and cry about my results each time on my blog.Unfortunately for fellow bloggers and readers there has not been one instance where I was able to brag about my results and this time it ain't much of a shiner either.

There is a limit to everything innit?well, I 'spose there is cause my life has dented my lips from smile-to-straight face-sad-sadder-sadder-sadder... and so on, so many times that it has reached its limits.Guess what? It's come back to where it started from, that is the good old smile. There is absolutely nothing that can make me frown anymore.Yipee.

Recently too many things seemed to be going nice for me, it didn't feel normal anymore.Something Gosta Gosta Give!OOPS!

Saturn[Shani kaata A.K.A VTU] got closer to the earth and something was on the cards.we were all invited to the party by VTU and what a party, did the VTU rock our lives apart or what?.The hangover still ain't gone.Yeah baby!

A self-assessment said that this was my best performance so far, but this was a party fulla surprises. The party-throwers seemed to out-perform me.
May all the evaluators rot in hell...no wait that ain't enuff, let them ROT IN VTU!!!

Please waste some time!

It's amazing how we break our heads to find ways to waste time during the classes throughout the semester and still keep away from homes where as during the exams its totally opposite.Amazing because we go through that process twice a year and we never learn.

Everytime there is a class going on we just want the teacher to come late to the class , yeah 10 minutes would be appropriate and then we want them to leave another 10 minutes early. In between of course a good 5 minutes is wasted surely while taking attendance. So ideally we have to go through 35 minutes of lecture...which rarely is the occasion.
OK! Then what do we do? - C R ELECTIONS!!Yippee!
So much trouble to waste one class?well, we will take what we can snatch, right? right!

So we finally manage to get two guys to stand for the "all important" C R Elections , both of whom look like oversized action figures. The duration of both their speeches is proportional to their respective heights.Damn them.We don't give a rat's butt of their speeches, but time is of essence, you need to waste it you morons!Right now it seems that that is their sole purpose on earth.

We take our time in "choosing our leader" after all its no easy decision. After careful examination and analysis of the candidates, we take a really tough decision: to almost unanimously elect one guy.
But the turning point of the day belongs to the fact that a person who wasn't a candidate landed herself a neat 3 votes.

Well now for the Thank you speech and it lasts 2 minutes long which if it wasn't for all the laughing and giggling and 'tee-hees' by our newly elected CR, would have actually lasted 5 seconds. He seems to be learning fast!

*Its only a few hours until he realises that "Class rep" is just a fancy word for a "Scape goat" and the poor bloke is running around in order to bring to effect a celebratory all day mass bunk of the classes just so that he doesn't have to listen to the " Hey,you are useless "
"What do you think we elected you for? "
" Hey move your butt and get those super-nerds to bunk"
"COME ON!! BE A MAN.I KNOW IT'S HARD, BUT TRY!!" and et al. *

OnE dAy WaStEd nOw WhAt?
well there is always the re-elections, blue-books / (dirty) yellow books or what-ever-you-call-em books , the PC elections, The presidential elections...all of which are not just that effective or not effective at all.

As for the teacher, she ensured for our own sake that the remaining 10 minutes of the class was well wasted by arranging for some "activity" which most people took surprisingly seriously and we even got to witness the POWERPUFF girls!

One hour well wasted...Mission accomplished!

Where is Sri Nagaraj?

After reluctantly agreeing to watch a 4 hour movie of "Jodha Akbar" (Partly because of the forcing and crying and threatening and.... and partly because I am an Aishwarya fan) I find myself with the entire gang criss crossing the streets that seem narrower than the width of my toilet and flooded with characters of people to kids to little chicken(Yeh hamara mulkh hain), whose sole purpose in life seemed to be get in the way of every vehicle on the road, to find the theatre I never thought I would ever visit in my life- Sri Nagaraj. The quest for Sri Nagaraj itself was an eventful one. First the mighty Pramukh had used the number provided by none other than the ever-so-reliable Nikhil to call up the theatre and confirm the dates...and then we had to find out where to go actually, in order to make it on time for the '5 O clock' show!Someone said that it was located in the City ( Oh really?wow! ) , a second person said it was near Central Library.A third person added that it was somewhere in Vijayanagar while my mum thought it was in S Layout. We now had the North-South-East-West but best of all was the person who thought that there was no such theatre in Mysore.
After much discussion and repeatedly taking directions from people we reached the place to find out that the show was actually at 5:45 and not 5.The "ever so reliable" Nikhil had given us the number to Thibbadevi instead. We had arrived at 4 to make it there "early" and "get the tickets before anyone else". .|.. ..|.

The magnitude of the movie's fan following hit us when we saw the line.It seemed miles long.(Duh! It was a saturday and the second day).People's eyes were red and eyelids heavy. All of them had the 'just gimme the ticket and I am ready to pass out' look. Some kids looked like they had spent their childhoods here in the line. They seemed ready to share with each other the fond memories about the time they joined the line.We joined the line too ,only to repeatedly pick up fights with all the @$$#()|3$ who choose to get in between the line[This is too much? ;) Gunah Kubool]. I never thought going for a movie would be anything but adventurous.Thankfully all the buttons on my shirt are intact.Kya kare janaab? Sab Allah marzi.
Everyone in the line for a change seemed to be amazingly tolerant of my imitation of the same actor we had come to watch. There were some die hard fans of Hrithik Roshan there...including our very own Rohit and I am just glad none of them teamed up to make Guru Manchurian as a Jodha Akbar special.
After waiting for 45 minutes the line that never moved ,we were kindly told to "Go to hell" because the tickets were sold out.
Inshaa Allah.
LONG LIVE AKBAR BADSHAH's Legacy.
I bid my khudha-hafees to the theatre.

That's when we decided to take off to Karanji Lake hoping to catch the sight of a few snakes, crocs and other cold blooded animals, only to find too many hot blooded animals who seemed to be hell bent on extending their families at the lake itself.GOOD LORD!!!I am not going to that place again!I rather watch desperate housewives.
And then of course the usual betta which is the answer to every young Mysorean's boredom.

Love at first sight?

I had just come back home from a really tiring game of cricket.I had just bowled 8 overs that evening and I was sweating buckets of sweat from head to toe. As I approached the gate to my home I stopped to speak to some of my neighbours. The usual mockery, teases and taunts, what else? As I was laughing I got this weird feeling I was being watched. I looked around. There was absolutely nobody watching me, except of course the people I was talking to. Barely 2 minutes later, I felt it again. This time I looked further and lo, across the street , a cute chick is sitting on a chair in her portico and staring at me from the distance. I looked behind me to see what I was missing on...over me, around me...well, there was only me. She was staring right at me. WOW.  Her head is resting on her hands and her long black hair is covering her hand.B-E-A-utiful!!

But, why was she staring at me? Maybe she was lost in her thoughts or something. Oh well, I decided to go and freshen up. I go in wash my face and neck, change my clothes, Tidy up the room. All this took about 20 minutes roughly and then there was a power cut, so I stepped out onto my own portico because there was still some light outside, I could at least talk to the neighbours until the power returned. As I begin to talk, I recalled the cute chick and try to find her...there is she is. Right where I saw her last and WOW she is still watching me. I strained my eyes to see if it was really me she was staring at. It definitely seemed so. It was getting dark and my curiosity was rising. What did she see in a beast like me? People who have known me for years hate to associate with me...how was she so fast? what...?when...? where...?

Suddenly the power was restored and the bright light pierced all our eyes. When our pupils became accustomed to the 100W bulbs in our porticoes and the street lights my vision straight away went towards the damsel. She was still there...on the same chair and now that her portico was also lit up by bulbs, there was no doubt she was staring at me. Listen to that guys, she was staring at ME...for nearly an hour now. She hadn't moved. Only once in a while when her silly cousins came out and said something to her, she moved her neck towards him and made swift moments with her right hand, while the left still supported her head, or when she had to reply to some query from inside the house. So that negated the possibility that she was dead.

Again all the questions started swimming in my head. Is this love at first sight? Is this why they say love is blind? After all she was staring at a mirror cracking material for so long...maybe love is blind after all innit?

I began to think...this is it...the moment....the cute chick...she was interested in me...she must have observed me over the days, I was a fool to have let her cute face slip from my notice. Doesn't matter. It's never too late. We can work things out now. I will explain to her that I had never looked across the street. She will understand.

It was close to 2 hours now, she was smiling.WOW...cutie smiling at me? wonder of wonders. I wanted to see how long this would go on. How long? My legs are getting tired now. I think thoughts like
"Why the blimey did she hafta stare at me?" crossed my head at break-neck speed a couple of times. I am still wondering all sorts of things about our future and all the planning I had to do, all the mature decisions I had to take, all the things I would have to consult her about...

The girl got up, took her hand off her ears and revealed a cellphone in it. She moved her fingers and obviously cut the call. Now she rotated her left wrist and neck to relieve herself of all the niggle caused by the 2 hour phone call. Stretched thoroughly and shouted something like "Hoon bande atthe" (Yeah aunt, I'm coming ) and walked back into the house.

Me? I just had my dinner and went to bed.

Who is Iceman??

Hi, how are you today?

Never been better, thank you

No messing around, Who is Iceman?

Oh he is just this stupid funny guy who was/is in my class/college/school/lives near my home.In short he is a total loser

Why is he a loser?

Oh, he just has no future mann! He is not serious about life or for that matter - anything.

Are you his friend?

yeah...in his dreams.

I have seen you speak quite a bit to him before

You know the guy is a fool, he has some really silly notions and swears by it.I just sometimes humour him.

So you gave an I.Q test to all you friends in the beginning?

F**K off...it's none of your business.

And why is he a fool?

One look at him, even you will agree.

Is that all you do...humour him?

Well he is a joker you know...he is useful around

So you DO like having him around?

Ahhh no, he is a pervert , he might take too much credit. I am like - ' Dude!Crack your joke and get on your way ok? ' and he is like " Oh I am so funny,oh I am so funny " He never leaves!!!

Why don't you ask him to leave?

Oh how should I? why should I? I have my manners ok?Besides the other guys don't seem to mind!huh!

He considers you a friend, you know that?

I don't give a F**K what he considers me...c'mon, just because I spoke to him most of the time and also enjoyed his company sometimes it doesn't mean he can totally considered me a friend.
I am like " wohohohoooow , hold your horses buddy, where did that come from? "
The loser totally got into my head!!huh...damn him!!

He got into your head?

Ummm, did I say that? sorry lemme rephrase that...he got on top of my head!

Thank you for having seedi baat with us here...I am sure Iceman is a loser. The sooner he finds out, the better. It was wonderful having you here.Have a good day.

Thnx for having me here, the pleasure was all mine.I totally enjoyed.

~nUmB3Rs~

I have an almost perfect count of the number of visitors on my blog and I pride myself over it, though I don't pride myself over the numbers themselves! You will see why-

I had been using google adsense to count the number of hits on my blog since I was told it was quite reliable.I signed up on July 14th I guess...and the count is from July 15th!
6th December 2007 the counter touched 3000 hits.
I just gave the issue more air than anything because I had nothing to boast about in my life ;P
Later I found out that google was not so reliable as was touted. So I used a different web counter to measure the hits.On a single day it showed 50000+ hits...yeah...right!!
So I went back to google...until I found a really reliable counter.Which you now see as burning numbers on the right column of your screen. :)

From the first blog 9th Feb 2007 to July 14th, I take the liberty to consider an additional 100 visitors..and maybe 200 more considering the lack of reliability of the google thing. Anyway the new web counter has been picked up from the exact number where I left google and not the additional 300 I just told you about.

All said and done...I don't really give a damn about the hits on my blog, because in the first place, I blog anonymously, then I make sure I don't give the link to too many people I know.So caring about the hits doesn't seem to make sense!

THIS IS FOR ALL THOSE OF YOU WHO JUST WONDER WHAT THOSE NUMBERS MEAN!!!

No Mum, I'm just dyslexic

Tare zameen par is a great movie...though I am not dyslexic at all, the movie did remind me of my childhood.I used to be always lost in my world like that kid and the comparision ends there.

But there is a catch to this great movie.Won't all the kids in the nation who watch this movie now just start to blame their laziness on 'Di-di-di-dislecksia' ?? India is a competitive country now, no doubt.Every household is hellbent on producing scoring machines, but for that small percentage of children who ought to study for the sake of good education and yet don't manage a decent score will now just blame it on this mental condition even though they ARE infact lazy, not mention the actual successful ones which decide to convert into their lazy world counterparts.

Revolutionary movie!!!Yeah revolutionary all right! Thanks to TZP the traditional " Ma'am the dog ate my homework" lines will be replaced by the brand new " Ma'am, I'm dyslexic ".

And Mr.Khan do you really expect us to believe you made the movie only for parents? After all India is the most youthful nation in the world, with a huge percentage of the population in between 12-25 age group!I'm sure you did your math before making your directorial venture.
Do you expect us to believe that, especially after you asked us to drink coke [which has a ph<3 just as much as a toilet cleaner] just so that you can laugh all the way to the bank , when you really don't drink that god-damned drink yourself??

After all the brickbats...I would still like to say, TZP is awesome...but its a strict NO-NO for kids.It should get an "Adults only" rating even though its artistically shot!

To dream or not to dream?

In this world there is suffering.
The suffering has a cause.
The cause is a desire...
The suffering can be ended by ending the desire.

The resident of my heart

It's a lush green meadow and I lay here in the sun
She bends over me,about to kiss, she is my hun
She stops, smiles, her hair glows in the sunlight
and a bright face sets my heart pounding right

Her laughter,giggle,chuckle reverberate in me
her voice gives me goosebumps, her face I wanna see
Back to the meadows, she is about to kiss, I wish time stops now
I love you baby, from the bottom of my heart and how...

I love your tantrums, your scoldings and your anger
I love everything about you,I know I'm in danger
In danger of a heartbreak but who really cares?
Victory goes to him,he who really dares

I gaze into her eyes, they are smiling too :)
so full of love!I wish I could hold you
This is the best portrait I have in my mind
To have blessed me with it,you are so kind

I want three things, your love, your love & your love
Give it to me and we will fly far far above
all of my heart's yours, my dearest dear
With your hands in mine,I got nothing to fear
you will be mine then, there is nothing to fear...

My personal diary

Many people tell me that my blog sounds like a personal diary sometimes and I tell them 'Ya got no idea mate!'.Anush's comment for Chinnu's blog reminded of this question I used to get frequently.

The fact is, just to set the record straight, I DO have a personal diary...ofcourse , one that is definitely not a blog.My dad introduced me to this wonderful habit of maintaining a personal diary at a young age of 8 years old- that is 1995.Hmmm, I know what you are thinking. But 8 years olds got feelings don't they?He taught me what I might want to write in it - anything and everything.I used to write like once in two days with a freakish little handwriting thats gotten freakier right now.I still take them out once in a while and go through what I had in my mind way back then.

Some stuff is funny, some pages just refresh my memory and some just seem to impress myself. There are poems, so called stories or short stories, daily updates, things-to-do,etc.,

Over time, this habit evolved. I write everyday now, I demand the best diary among the numerous diaries gifted...then I demand the next too. You see, one of them is a decoy...with a so-called maintainance which is supposed to make nosey people think thats the one- courtesy the fact that I found out that my parents used to read them when I was a kid. I never write any feelings in them, everything in it is very general and of no use to me in the future.I remember every diary I have ever used and I have well-hidden all the diaries that I wouldn't want anybody to touch.

I don't see why a blog shouldn't be a diary. It all depends on how much you are comfortable of letting people know.It depends on how much secure you feel.It depends on how much you want to communicate. Some people just blog to look funny or cool, some just write lines with the toughest words you can find in the dictionary and make their posts as hard to understand as possible, just to show that their language is good. Some just brag on and on and onnnnnnn about things that would be of interest to a very small group of people and end up calling it a blog about their life.Thats hardly communication!Thats hardly a blog!!

My blog is far far away from my personal diary and I doubt that either of them will tell you my complete story....a story that has just begun!!

Then and now

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.

No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.

No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars like skies at night.

No time to turn at Beauty’s glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.

No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.

A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

* Where are those days when I would spend all the time in the noon staring at the eagles in the sky circling as if in slow motion? They used to take about an hour to circle in and out of our view of the sky.I look up now and there ain't even half the number of eagles there used to be.

* When I could just pick up my trusty catapult and shoot pebble after pebble , the exact same spot on the tree without being shouted at by anyone. Now I neither have a caterpillar nor do I go 30 seconds without washing my hands as soon as I pick up a pebble.

* When I could just pick up my bicycle in the evening and ride off to somewhere someplace where the wheels took me.Now,I think twice before kick-starting my bike wondering how much of my dad's money I am burning.

* When elders meant - respect, hurry, busy-for-me, worried, hard work , my-source-of-coffee , force-me-to-eat , never-understand-me , NEVER-GROW-UP-TO-BE-ONE!!!

* When betta seemed to be so far away and I would promise myself - I will definitely go to the betta at least once a year when I grow up.Now so many trees on the hill thank me and my buddies.

* When fantasy land meant- fantasy land.It had gummi bears, wendy the witch or Ritchie Rich and lots of cool stuff or magical things. Now its a lush green meadow, a bubbling brook and my dreamgirl.

* When 2 AM meant I'm in the middle of my daily quota of deep sleep and probably a dream and NOT the last person of the day I am bugging on the chat.

I AM NOT SUICIDAL

It's been really a while since I unbottled myself here. Its just been funny little that and funny little this lately.Lets set the record straight.I have not blogged because I had my exams.
My exams were one hell of a nightmare for me.I thought I was down and out this time. But thanks to my friends, I have done better than that at least.I realised a few things during the exams.
When your are going well, a lot of people seem to be nice and friendly, but when you are having a tough time, few come to your help. They are real friends.I found quite a few of those real friends during the last month. So many people showed support, lent me their books, notes etc,.I would take their names here, but they wont be comfortable, nor will the ones who miss out being mentioned.I don't need to say thanks to my own friends either.
The thing is, I hardly ask for help...I don't like taking favours.
I tried to put up my usual happy face all the time...but this time it was so hard.A lot of things went wrong, not just with the exams, but a lot of other things too.

I wrote this for my "about me" on a profile recently:

I have my own ups and downs like all of you...
I call spade a spade,I am not diplomatic, (diplomacy is just a nice word for the behaviour of cunning people),which will make you hate me somehow.
I don't like groupism...I fit anywhere, this again works against me.
I usually have a smile on my face and as most other things it works against me because I am either accused of smiling too much OR WHEN I DO GET SAD once in a while I am hated the most["oh he has lost it"]...even accused of being paranoid about my troubles.

beyond that, I don't know myself.

I am NOT moody, I just lost it for a while. Now I haven't unwound myself totally...but definitely I am not loosing it now.

Recently, after all my mad mad outbursts, I earned the 'suicidal' tag I hear.I am NOT SUICIDAL.The last thing I want anybody to say after I am gone is "Its sad he took his own life ( He wasn't much worth alive-but still :P)". My next statement may not have many believers but its a fact that I have saved a few people from committing suicide.
If I ever look like I have committed suicide, even if I have written a suicide note, you can blindly assume that I have been murdered and can suspect a conspiracy cause I ain't ever gonna take the escape route...I'll stay and fight.
I have a good reason to live.

And now for my last request, just because I don't tell you about my troubles it doesn't mean they don't exist...the least you can do is ignore me, than to call me paranoid!!!!PLEASE!

a departing thought for now...
In order to form an immaculate member of a flock of sheep one must, above all, be a sheep.

Attention one and all: New ICC rules

New ICC rules:

After watching the test match, I feel some rules have to be incorporated by
ICC to give the other teams a perfect clarification[before you read on, you might want to check out a post on a related issue I published earlier-->click here]

(1) Ricky Ponting - (THE TRULY GENUINE CRICKETER OF THE CRICKET ERA AND
WHOSE INTEGRITY SHOULD NOT BE DOUBTED) should be considered as the FOURTH
UMPIRE. As per the new rules, FOURTH UMPIRE decision is final and will over
ride any decisions taken by any other umpires. ON-FIELD umpires can seek the
assistance of RICKY PONTING even if he is not on the field. This rule is to
be made, so that every team should understand the importance of the FOURTH
UMPIRE.

(2) While AUSTRALIAN TEAM is bowling, If the ball flies anywhere close to
the AUSTRALIAN FIELDER(WITHIN 5 metre distance), the batsman is to be
considered OUT irrelevant of whether the catch was taken cleanly or grassed.
Any decision for further clarification should be seeked from the FOURTH
UMPIRE. This is made to ensure that the cricket is played with SPORTIVE
SPIRIT by all the teams.

(3) While BATTING, AUSTRALIAN players will wait for the ON-FIELD UMPIRE
decisions only (even if the catch goes to the FIFTH SLIP as the ball might
not have touched the bat). Each AUSTRALIAN batsman has to be out FOUR TIMES
(minimum) before he can return to the pavilion. In case of THE CRICKETER
WITH INTEGRITY, this can be higher.

(4) UMPIRES should consider a huge bonus if an AUSTRALIAN player scores a
century. Any wrong decisions can be ignored as they will be paid huge bonus
and will receive the backing of the AUSTRALIAN team and board.

(5) All AUSTRALIAN players are eligible to keep commenting about all
players on the field and the OPPONENT TEAM should never comment as they will
be spoiling the spirit of the AUSTRALIAN team. Any comments made in any
other language are to be considered as RACIALISM only.

(6) MATCH REFREE decisions will be taken purely on the AUSTRALIAN TEAM
advices only. Player views from the other teams decisions will not be
considered for hearing. MATCH REFREES are to be given huge bonus if this
rule is implemented.

(7) NO VISITING TEAM should plan to win in AUSTRALIA. This is to ensure
that the sportive spirit of CRICKET is maintained.

(8) THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE: If any bowler gets RICKY PONTING - "THE
UNDISPUTED CRICKETER WITH INTEGTIRY IN THE GAME OF CRICKET" more than twice
in a series, he will be banned for the REST OF THE SERIES. This is to ensure
that the best batsman/Captain will be played to break records and create
history in the game of CRICKET.

These rules will clarify better to the all teams VISITING AUSTRALIA.

Excuse me!

Harbhajjan allegedly called Andrew Symonds -" Big monkey" I am sure it is rascism and deeply deeply hurting for all monkeys! The ICC is going to take action on behalf of the International Monkey Association [IMA ]

Jokes apart, I'm deeply disgusted at the turn of events.
I wont be surprised if Bhajji really did abuse Symonds. It is wrong, but paying no heed to an Indian's word, especially someone as reputed as Sachin is a bigger abuse.

I dont even need to mention the 'unsportsman-like' conduct from the Aussies.I actually thought they were within their rights when they were appealing, but what I found really funny was when Steve Waugh was asked about what he felt of this 'unsportsman-like' conduct he said " I have to defend them, I completely support them, this is the way we play, this is our culture"
LOL are you telling me you are uncultured Mr.Waugh?
This is the kind of stuff that makes it so hard for people to be a fan of great cricketers from Oz,retired or not.

Now, what remains is to see India face a humiliating defeat down under after the BCCI is done with flexing its muscles with ICC just cause all the money is in India.

And finally..."Big Monkey"....rascism?, helloo? Are you really so dumb or is the effect of sitting on your ass all day and DNA[ Doing Nothing Again] ???

-->More on this issue.
